Are you feeling your best? If not, how can I help? Last week I posted about common treatments I provide, including improving diet, working on stomach conditions, and helping women improve their hormone balance.
But one post was not enough! This, week I’m sharing some additional conditions that I treat regularly as a Naturopathic Doctor. Feel free to connect if you could use my help with any of these:
Intravenous and intramuscular vitamin therapy
IV therapy can help with many conditions, including pain and fatigue, headaches, anxiety, nutrient deficiencies (such as B12, vitamin D, vitamin C, B vitamins, zinc, amino acids) and infections. You can also get iron infusions (great for people suffering from anemia) and NAD+ for anti-aging (helpful for those with chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, brain fog, and mitochondrial dysfunction). I have been offering intravenous vitamin therapy in my practice for over 10 years!
Vitamins and herbal medicine dispensary prescribing
Do you know if your vitamin balance is right? I test for vitamin deficiencies and assess and prescribe appropriate doses of vitamins and/or herbal medicine for each patient. I also advise patients about the interactions of vitamins as well as herbal supplements with medications. Don’t just experiment on your own—when you meet with me, you get a personalized plan that helps to ensure you’re taking the right vitamins for you and at safe dosages.
Prescription Rights – Right to Prescribe Medication
Many people don’t know that many naturopathic doctors, including me, have the right to prescribe medicines. I have taken courses and exams to be able to prescribe medication in BC, and I can prescribe antibiotic, hormones. I have access to a variety of complementary medicines that are prescription-only. One example is low-dose naltrexone (LDN) used for autoimmune diseases, pain, and inflammation.
Acupuncture
As a licenced acupuncturist, I provide acupuncture as an added service to help patients with many conditions. Acupuncture is known to promote healing and many of my patients have embraced It as part of their plan—let’s talk about whether it’s worth trying!
Do any of these treatments sound right for you? Let’s chat and come up with a personalized treatment plan – connect with me to set up an appointment and get started!
