Summer is a great time to take time off, slow down, get outside and enjoy the nicer weather. I know I feel refreshed when I take time off, whether it be to add a Friday off to make a long weekend, or to take a week to travel, go camping or even to relax at home. My son and I love to go hiking, whether close to home or away!
I don’t need to find a statistic to demonstrate the benefits of time off – you know that getting away from your regular routine offers that chance to recharge and think differently. Finding time to rest, explore new places locally or through travel, and spending time with the people you love are all great reasons to plan time away from the everyday.
As I plan to take a week off in July and August, I’m encouraging all my patients to see where they can fit in time for rest this summer. Even if it’s just the occasional long weekend or a week at home, time off can improve your mental health, help you beat exhaustion and overwhelm, and give you the space you need to breathe.
As for me, I will be following my own advice to take time off this summer. But I’m still booking patients, now 3 weeks ahead, so please check online or contact me at the number below. Also my office is still open for patients to refill supplements!
